This page provides updated technical information on VOXEL-MAN 3D-Navigators: Inner Organs, Brain and Skull and Upper Limb, such as extended release notes or bug fixes.
Please note: Newer patches include all the previous ones, so there is no need to install more than one patch! Use of older patches is recommended only if you encounter compatibility problems on old machines.

| VOXEL-MAN 3D-Navigators : Brain and Skull and Inner Organs have been tested successfully on a recent Core 2 Duo processor (P 8400) under Windows Vista (Business SP1). It turned out that both the original versions distributed on CD or DVD as well as the updates for hyperthreading/multiprocessor CPUs (see below) are working well. Note: While running one of the programs, the Vista Aero color scheme (i.e. the glass-like appearance of the window borders) is temporarily disabled, but will be properly restored at program exit. |

| Unfortunately, Java Runtime 1.1.7 for Windows by Sun Microsystems used for VOXEL-MAN 3D-Navigator: Inner Organs proved incompatible with the newly developed Intel Pentium 4 processor, causing the program to crash on these machines. To download a patched Java Runtime, click on vm3dn-io-p4-patch.exe with the right mouse button and select "Save link as ..." (about 4.5 MB). See the README or LIESMICH on how to proceed. |

| The version distributed on CD-ROM does not support drive Z:, regardless whether Z: is a hard disk or a CD-ROM drive. Therefore, scenes on drive Z: will not be found. Supported drives are C: to Y:. If you need to access drive Z:, replace file VMjrCommonV1.3.jar with an updated version. For a standard installation, this file resides in C:\...\VOXEL-MAN 3D-Navigator\Inner Organs V1.0\VMjr where "..." represents the "Program Files" folder (may be called differently for non-English versions of Windows; e.g. "Programme" in German). To download the updated version, click on VMjrCommonV1.3.jar with the right mouse button and select "Save link as ..." (about 250 KB). |

| In some packages, the earpieces of the stereo glasses are folded to the wrong side. To get a real stereo impression, please make sure the red glass is used for the left eye, and the green glass is used for the right eye. |
